Critical Abroad Master Program Question and Answer



Why is the master’s program a critical next step toward your short-and long-term career goals?

After the completion of my MBA I will join a multinational firm as a consultant. I already have an experience of the kind of work business consultants do. For the last one and half year in Cognizant  I have worked closely with Cognizant Business Consultants team which comprises of qualified and experienced  MBAs. Most of my assignments were related to functional and decision making. I found the work assignments very interesting and gave my every effort to finish them flawlessly and within stipulated timeframe. A  fomal degree will make me fully prepared to become business consultant. Therafter I would immerge myself to learn the nuances of running a business and would learn and grow in the intrenational corporate.

In a long run I plan to have my own venture. With the latest advent of technology and dissimilation of information everywhere there are prospects for running a consulting and information business globally. In this process I have already started working on some of small ventures along with friends and family. We have set up a small scale technology and services firm and one more is on process. Before proceeding any furthur in this business I want to aquire more amount of experience and want know the nuances of strategy, planning, organizing, and execution.

To have a strong technical ground I went through a full time master’s degree in computer Application after the completion of my graduation. My graduation in mathematics honors have helped me to aquire analytical and quantitative skills that facilitated the easy understanding of functionality and aspects of commerce and finance during my association with Banking and Financial domain in cognizant.
